About the Role:
East Midlands Rugby Union are seeking a dedicated and organised U18 Player Team Manager.
The Team Manager plays a vital role in supporting East Midlands Rugby representative teams, overseeing the administrative, logistical, and organisational aspects of the programme. This role ensures a safe, well-run, and professional environment, allowing players and coaches to focus on performance and development.
Key Responsibilities
Administration & Compliance
- Act as the main point of contact between East Midlands Rugby Chair of Age Grade Rugby and coaches, players, parents/guardians.
- Ensure all players are correctly registered and eligible in line with RFU and East Midlands Rugby regulations and within Reg 15.
- Maintain up-to-date records including player details, medical information, consent forms (where required), and emergency contacts
- Involvement in selection if required
- Social Media advertisements and updates for all squad selections, fixtures, team photos.
- Support compliance with RFU safeguarding, insurance, and data protection requirements
Fixtures, Training & Logistics
- Coordinate fixtures, training sessions.
- Organise travel arrangements if necessary
- Liaise with Age Grade Chair for details on host clubs, county unions, and officials regarding venues, kick-off times, and facilities
- Manage match-day administration including team sheets, jerseys, equipment, and RFU match requirements, including EMC completion.
You will report directly to the Head Coach for U18 Girls Rugby
Travel expenses and kit will be provided, and the role is subject to a two-year tenure with a review and reapplication process.
