Found recently in an old copy of the Bedfordshire Times by the East Mids RU President, Nick Powley, this picture shows the East Midlands team who lost 24-3 in the semi final of the County Championship to Lancashire on 13th March 1954.
As most of the team are smiling, we assume this photo was taken pre-game!
