Welcome
We are East Midlands RFU, a Constituent Body (CB) of the Rugby Football Union.
We are run by a strong team of dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers, who are responsible for the operational running of the clubs in the CB. These responsibilities cover a wide range of knowledge, from Governance & Safeguarding to Adult and Age Grade Rugby inc developing Players, Coaches and Referees.
East Midlands, Adult and Age Grade, also run a comprehensive range of competitions as well as fielding representative East Midlands teams. All these aspects ensure that rugby is grown and developed to be the best it can be and will remain sustainable for generations to come in the heart England.
As the organisation responsible for ensuring our clubs and members are supported we’re here to help you every step of the way.

Our mission is to support the development and sustainability of Clubs and to grow of the game of Rugby for all players in the East Midlands area.
Message from Chris Parr, Chairman of East Midlands Rugby Union
I am proud to be Chairman of East Midlands Rugby Union, and as a former player, coach, representative coach, and, volunteer understand most aspects of East Midlands Rugby and all of its values.
We have strong grass roots with fabulous Age Grade growth in both Boys and Girls rugby and again in Adult rugby with the retention and growth of the Mens and Womens Rugby. With hosting world cup games in Northampton and the awareness of volunteers with the clubs, the growth of the Girls and Womens game has been outstanding.
I will be visiting clubs around the Constituent Body during my term as Chairman and look forward to meeting you at your club soon.
